Leslie Blanchard, Ph.D.

Dr. Blanchard received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville  in 2008.  She completed her internship with Arkansas Children's Hospital  and the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.  It is here that  she received additional training in evaluation and treatment of developmental concerns, such as autism spectrum disorders.

In  2009, Dr. Blanchard joined a private practice in Fayetteville, Arkansas  where she remained in practice for two years before relocating to Russellville, Arkansas in 2011.

She now continues her work in private  practice at River Valley Psychology. Dr. Blanchard enjoys working with  diverse needs of children, adolescents, and adults. She utilizes empirically supported approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and adapts as needed to provide individualized care. 

She is a member of the Arkansas Psychological Association and furthers her  education by attending the annual Arkansas Psychological Association Fall Conference, as well as other seminars throughout the year.  She also holds membership in the American Psychological Association and shares in their mission “to advance the creation, communication and application of psychological knowledge to benefit society and improve people's lives.”
