Christina Thibodeaux, LPC
Christina Thibodeaux received her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2009. It was there that she was trained in Systems as well as Counseling Theories. She is trained to provide therapeutic services for individuals, couples, and families.
She completed her internship for licensure in Louisiana as both a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Licensed Professional Counselor at Genesis Behavioral Hospital’s Partial Hospitalization Program. She worked there until moving to Virginia in 2012.
In 2013, Christina joined a private practice in Manassas, Virginia, where she provided therapy for over 3 years before relocating to Russellville, Arkansas in 2016.
Christina works with a variety of clients presenting with depression, anxiety, problems adjusting to life circumstances, infidelity, panic, trauma, poor communication, relationship problems, self-harm/thoughts of self-harm, feelings of discontent, work/school problems, unhealthy patterns of behavior, and general unhappiness. She uses a variety of therapeutic approaches including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
Christina holds current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in Arkansas, Virginia, and Louisiana and licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist in Louisiana. She also holds a specialty license as a Technology Assisted Counselor in Arkansas.
